    it's the hair that catches her attention. someone had mentioned he had red hair and was on the taller side but it's the bright red hair that leads her to him. elke doesn't bother to wait for an answer.

    " i've spent the past few days trying to find you. i didn't think it would be so difficult, but as it were, finding someone is very difficult when you keep getting very distracted. "

    she's holding a small box to her chest. wooden, plain and simple. it has a bit of a worn look to it, edges faded and marked.

                                           Everything came to a conclusion, one the PEGASUS KNIGHT could be proud of to replenish these lands from the EMPIRE’S control. Specifically a certain EX-EMPEROR believed this was for the sake of ending suffering through COUNTLESS SACRIFICES. Such thoughts couldn’t ever influence INGRID’S chivalrous calling...not like this. Any life shouldn’t be taken lightly, not unless they committed true evils from the deaths of innocent. Emerald hues still relive those flames, battle cries and people crying out over the soldiers roaming about GALATEA territory. How dare they try to claim the land she dearly wished to aid in restoring someday with her knighthood. Oh, it hits the woman from realizing that duty must be fulfilled aside from this DREAM.

                                           ---What shall INGRID do to aid her FATHER and rid the famine of their land? Armored hands almost worry the longer this issue prolonged, knowing she might have to return home after this task. Her heart felt uneasy until a familiar face comes into the picture. The PEGASUS KNIGHT views those red locks briefly, turning away as quickly as their eyes met. How strange for someone like herself to act quite flustered...this isn’t like her at all. Those troubling thoughts must have mixed up her mind quite enough to behave like this. Footsteps approached the woman, calling out to grasp her attention (play it off...try not to tell him). The least thing she wanted to do was troubling him even after the end of this gruesome war. “ Hello, SYLVAIN. I was on my way to buy some supplies to help restore this territory but I noticed you were here. Is there something you wanted to ask me? Try not to stumble on your words this time. ”

Oh — my — goodness !!!  A reaction is exactly what he wants . . . right ? So she wasn’t going to give him one. Yet her cheeks burn red and her facade deceived her. If only she wasn’t so easy to read, like a book. I suppose that was quite fitting after all. But my oh my she would love to wipe that smirk off his face.

Simple fix right ? he had corrected her countless of times, now it was her to turn to do it to him. No ? Well that was what she was going with anyways because she would just about die if anyone else knew that she sang silly little songs while alone ( Well at least she thought she had been ) WAIT. Does that mean the little birdy is Felix? He wouldn’t of. . . oh, now she was going to have to talk to him. 

And then it hits her. . . two can play at this game.

‘ it’s very simple, really, ’ Linhardt holds up the copy he’s got in his grasp, revealing indeed the same cover. The title of his is in a different language. ‘ Petra gave me her copy and I wanted to check if there were any significant differences in the translation, since it originally came from Brigid. ’ Plucking the book from Sylvain’s hand, the young scholar immediately pops both open and scans across the pages. His knowledge of the language of Brigid is somewhat unpolished, but he’s able to grasp it well enough for his own purposes.

After a few moments, he remembers that the northerner is still standing there, watching him. ‘ Oh, thank you, I guess, for bringing this to me. I should be done with it in a fortnight or so—probably. Come to think if it, why did you have a book of foreign poetry? ’

      Of all the people in Garreg Mach that he doesn’t want to see, Sylvain sits pretty securely at number two, with only the Boar Prince taking the throne, as he has for the past ten years. Normally, Felix would simply leave when Sylvain entered a room, sensing trouble and irritation as easily as a predator can sense blood. He can’t leave now, so instead his eyes cut across to Sylvain, already crossing the room towards where Felix stands. 

     “What do you want, Sylvain?” He crosses his arms, shifting his weight so that his hips jut slightly off to the side. “Can’t you see I’m busy?” He’s very clearly not, but that doesn’t stop him from saying it.

“sylvain?  it’s almost midnight.  what are you doing out so late?”  even as she speaks,  edelgard realizes the irony of the situation;  she suddenly feels out of place.  she’s outside with him too,  isn’t she?  she’s already preparing a plethora of excuses.  “what would you do if seteth caught you?  he’s already stringent as it is.”
