If I had discovered Tumblr and fandom just a few years earlier I would have definitely been in the Outlander fandom - I was very into it for a while!
I stumbled into the Landerlark tag while looking for something else entirely which led me to Scotch Pearls by @rosegardeninwinter - a delightful read!
I remember reading Love Throughout the Ages and Misplaced maybe a year ago and wishing there was MORE, so what fun to find it now?!
I had a vague idea for an Outlander inspired fic at one point that I cannot/will not write in which modern(ish) Peeta accidentally time travels back to 1750s Appalachia- bumping into a Native American hunting expedition. -> Enter indigenous/mixed Katniss who convinces the others to take him back with them unharmed.
Katniss’s blond haired, blue eyed mother is STRICKEN when she first sees Peeta… eventually it would come out that he is the spitting image of his father - her fiancé from the future who she’d been unable to return to when she had inadvertently time traveled through the fog all those years ago.
The impending Seven Year war and American Revolution would play into the will he/won’t he return to his time.
Please also imaging Madge as the Lord John Grey equivalent - lol
