Heroes finding and defusing landmines in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
One of OneArmenia’s projects this year has been the #MineFreeArtsakh campaign, raising money and awareness about the efforts to clear the last minefield at Kavak Monastery. They have raised $92,942 of $100,800 (93%) so far.
I cannot state this enough: it’s been 24-years since the Armenian ceasefire with Azerbaijan was declared and in 2019 children are still getting maimed and killed by the landmines left behind.
