So this was my bad idea. Put my grass density back down to 65, and activated:
Unique Grasses and Groundcovers
Unique Flowers and Plants
SFO 2dotAlpha
Tamriel Reloaded Trees
Average frames with RLO and my current enb (which isn't very demanding thankfully) is 23. Hit around 17 in the low bits, 30 in the nice parts.
It's not really unbearable either. Most of these high density areas stop once you get near a main combat area so fighting gameplay doesn't really suffer.
