Ten Little Facts About Castiel

When he was young, he smoked two packs a day, after 30, he managed to cut it down to one pack a day, but after he met Dean, his cigarette consumption increased again.

His favorite alcoholic drink is beer and his favorite non-alcoholic drink is coffee. He dislikes wine and champagne.

He likes animals.

He has had problems with food since childhood. Although he likes good home cooking, he never eats much, and as a smoker and drinker, he can substitute cigarettes and beer for food.

He is not a very good shot (Dean is definitely better than him) and therefore prefers other ways of fulfilling his contract.

He has tattoos of bees and honeycombs.

He once considered becoming a priest.

He likes to bet on all kinds of sports and gamble, but he doesn't like throwing money at slot machines.

He suffers from hypersensitivity to a certain component of pheromones found in women and omegas. His condition is not severe enough to make him unable to function in society (there are cases where people with hypersensitivity cannot even leave their own homes), but it has caused him to smoke.

His total assets are between $130 and $140 million.

Ten little facts about Dean

He was baptized an evangelical.

As a child, he loved playing with the soldiers and guns John gave him, and the dolls and pram Mary gave him. And he loved it when his Omega mom painted his nails a different color each time.

He eats what the world calls "American food" - fast food, frozen convenience foods, vending machine meals, and anything you can buy at a gas station. And being an Omega, he is wary of unfamiliar foods unless he gets them from his Alpha (John, Castiel, or Bobby). But this is very much influenced by his age. As an adult, he'll be much more open to trying new things.

He is good at shooting at moving targets and has a high percentage of hits. He's not very good at long range shooting and has a relatively low percentage of lethal hits.

He is agnostic - if he were to ponder the meaning of life, he would be willing to acknowledge the existence of a higher power, but would never be willing to practice a religion.

He is much smarter and has a much greater general outlook than those around him think. Partly he deliberately pretends to be a "stupid Omega" and partly he thinks he is not smart enough to understand anything more complex.

He's grown an inch in the time he's known Castiel. And he hasn't stopped growing.

He fell in love with Castiel because he is very much like his father John -- a smoker, a drinker, a taciturn and quiet type who prefers to keep to himself, and very dangerous when he wants to be or when he loses his temper.

For an Omega, he has unusually high levels of testosterone and alpha enzymes, which affects his appearance and behavior, as well as his smell. He produces less of certain components of the pheromone spectrum, and they happen to be the same ones that bother Castiel. That's why it's the only Omega that smells good to Castiel. Thirty years ago, this "hormonal deviation" of Dean's would have been considered a disorder affecting the Omega male's appearance, behavior, and especially fertility, and his parents would have been recommended hormonal and psychological treatment.

He had always wanted tattoos and piercings, but had not yet had the time to get them or to commit to getting his earlobe pierced.

He spent another night in the closet and all of the next day before the key finally rattled in the lock. He turned away from further humiliation and prepared himself for the role of obedient Omega, wanting a chance to carry out their plan. What a surprise when the Alpha fucker just pulled him out by the collar, growled at him and dragged him upstairs to the room Dean shared with Angel and locked him in. Alone. Where his roommate was, Dean didn't know, but shortly after the Knot had locked him in, he heard everyone going back to their rooms. He expected Angelo to come too, but he didn't. Dean didn't have to think long to figure out where the other Omega boy was.

He sat down on the floor by the door and listened carefully to the sounds of the house. It took an endless amount of time for the commotion to stop long enough for the house to fall into silence. For a moment, he considered waiting for Angelo to return, but finally decided to go ahead with the plan anyway. He wanted to get out of this damn place. Today was a chance and if the other Omega boy could keep the Alpha's attention... well, there was nothing Dean could do about it and after all, Angelo wasn't his friend. He wasn't even his ally. He couldn't take care of everyone, no matter how much the small Omega voice in his head whispered that he should.

Stifling it, he stood up and reached into his pocket for his nail.

He slid it into the lock, along with the piece of wire Charlie had managed to steal and slip under his closet door before dinner tonight, and set to work. It took a few movements, careful and precisely measured, to make the lock click as the latch sank into the door.

He opened it slowly, so the door wouldn't creak, and looked out into the hallway. He was especially careful to see if he could see a light under any of the doors, but no. All the rooms were dark.

Quietly, he walked over to the door to Charlie's room and unlocked it just like his own, then stuck his head in.

It looked exactly like his and Angel's. Strong, and even in the darkness, lit only by the lights from the street, he could tell there were no colors in it. There were even identical beds. In one lay the small figure of Sybill and in the other the slightly larger figure of the red-haired Omega.

This picture was so good for AI that I went to the trouble of giving Castiel a tattoo. What I like most about it is the way Castiel is holding Dean. It fits his personality and the way he treats Dean. And I like the fact that Dean is obviously happy in his Alpha's arms.

Ten Little Facts About Sam

He prays every day

If he had his way, he would eat mostly vegetarian food, with the occasional chicken or fish.

He is not happy being an Alpha. He wishes he were a Beta or even an Omega because he doesn't like how Alphas have behaved in the past and how they behave today, and he's afraid he can't control his Alpha instincts.

He would make a great sniper because he is already very good at precision and long-range shooting. And he has a high kill percentage.

He loves dogs and has always wanted one. When Sam was eight years old, they lived in a small town in Texas for a few weeks. Sam befriended an old stray dog and sneaked out to feed him. One day, he caught a group of older Beta boys abusing the dog and trying to set it on fire so they could videotape it and share it. That was the first time Sam's Alpha came out. He beat and bit the Beta boy badly. He never told anyone about it, not even Dean, and for weeks he was afraid he would get in trouble for it.

Except for clowns, he's afraid of closets and all cabinets and chambers where a person could fit. He always puts a chair in front of the closet and leaves all his clothes on the chair. His father doesn't know about this fear, and if he did, he wouldn't understand and wouldn't be very forgiving.

He says he doesn't like Castiel because he's a criminal. The truth is that he is jealous and afraid that Dean will leave him.

Dean has always tried to keep him away from anything illegal, but still, Sam can pick pockets, pick locks, and start cars without keys. And he enjoys hacking into protected computer networks, including various government agencies and police departments.

In a kill-or-die situation, he would shoot before Dean. As an Alpha, he instinctively favors himself over almost everyone else, and that scares him.

His most prized possession is his collection of various badges and pins.
