'#things like these make me want to be a messenger' Rodion briefly looks up from the paper work he was reading at the table. "You should probably stay with what you're good at..." Timidly, he speaks quietly and quickly diverts his gaze down. "That job is not too exciting and your skills are already being out to good use..."

"C'mon, I'm sure it's plenty fun being a messenger too! And plus, every small thing helping EZIC is a good thing. Be proud of what you do." Lei-Lang smiles at Rodion, patting him on the head. "If I could, I would definitely tag along when you pass on a message."

Have either of you been to any of the other countries?

Lei-Lang: Yeah! I spent most of my life in Impor, but I'm currently situated in a safehouse in Kolechia. I cross over to Arstotzka whenever I'm summoned, but most of the time on the job is spent in Kolechia. I do travel back to Impor every once in a while to visit the family though.

Lei-Luo: The only country other than Impor I've visited is Kolechia, both for business reasons and to visit my brother. I've been to the other cities and regions in Impor, though. I think it'll be nice to visit the United Federation one day, if I ever have the time.

You're both from Impor, like Rodion. Did you guys all grow up together?

Both Rodion and I were born around the same area, near the sea, but to my knowledge we were in completely different cities?? We might have been in the same area, but I’d only properly met him after I joined EZIC.

We were both assigned to the same safehouse, one in Kolechia near the Arstotzkan border, though we didn’t talk much the first couple of days. Hah, I’m surprised he actually put up with me- I was a pretty spoilt brat the first few months on the job! We’ve been through quite a lot together, though we have different jobs, and while we didn’t grow up together, we sure did grow in character together. And that’s what matters most to me, I suppose.

Also, Lei-Luo doesn’t know much about Rod. They’ve met a few times and I’ve mentioned him to her quite a lot, but since she spends most of her time in Impor, they haven’t bonded or anything. They get along pretty well though.
