A couple who speaks to each other in their own native languages.

For example, one speaks Spanish, and the other speaks Russian. They can't speak their partner's language, but fully understand it:

They both speak a common language, but prefer to speak like this when it's just them.

vs

You cant throw that on the same music and expect it to work.

Something I've noticed

A vast difference between Gen Z language and the language of older generations is out tendency to overly exaggerate. For example, if one of our parents hears the term "fight me", they would think we were actually inviting them to fight. If it was told to someone out age, however, they would understand its meaning as "I disagree with you" or "I will protect my opinion" there are more examples but I don't feel like going into them right now.
