A thought.
Strife uses words like “dude” and phrases like “Come on, bitch”.
Now, it can be argued that other species in the universe developed the same negative connotations to words that refer to animals, that they’d be used as common insults.
But then there’s “dude” which is a human slang word, that’s only existed in human culture since the late 19th century. It’s thought to have come from ‘Yankee Doodle’ if I remember right. And this raises some questions.
Did Strife learn this word from humans, which would mean Darksiders: Genesis is happening before the apocalypse while humans are already around. OR Did humans of the Darksiders universe learn it from angels/demons/Strife/sbd. else. (Angels and Demons are already said to have influenced humanity a lot so they’re just as suspect)
Either way, I love the implications
