“AI MEETS LANI: LANI MAY AI?” Ai-Ai and Lani in an Explosive One Night Only Concert at the Kia Theater
A fitter and glowing Ms. Ai-Ai delas Alas appeared at the presscon for “AI MEETS LANI: LANI MAY AI?” last August 10 at the Jet 71 Bistro in Timog.
The Philippine Comedy Concert Queen admitted that she’s excited for this project since this is her comeback in the concert stage after “Ai-Ai sa Araneta,” which she did way back 2010. She said that doing concert is her first love, but she got too busy doing movies and TV shows.
The offer for a concert is also very timely, as she has just lost weight and is now more in tuned with her body. “Ang concert kase kailangan mo ng endurance dyan, kaya maganda na rin na pumayat ako. Konting gym na lang laban na sa live stage,” explained Ai-Ai. She claimed that she’s not dieting. It was more of healthier food choices and lifestyle change.
Another reason to be ecstatic about the concert is her sharing the stage with Asia’s Nightingale, Ms. Lani Misalucha for the first time. Ai and Lani had known each other for quite some time now. Ai-Ai revealed that Lani sang during her wedding in Las Vegas in 2013.

Ms.Lani Misalucha, who is still in the United States joined the presscon last August 10 via Facetime.
Ai-Ai revealed that the opening number alone is already a ‘pasabog,’ It’s 12-minute showdown between her and Lani. “Opening number pa lang namin kabog talaga. 12 minutes yung opening number kaya gym ako ng gym kase baka mamaya ‘di pa tapos ung number tapos na ko,” she jokingly added.
The show also will be a pre celebration of Ms.Ai-Ai Delas Alas’ birthday and the 20th anniversary of Ms. Lani Misalucha in her musical career.
“AI MEETS LANI: LANI MAY AI?” is a one-night only concert happening on September 17, 2016 at the Kia Theater. The show is produced by DSL Events and Production House Inc., managed by Ms.Pops Fernandez and will be directed by Mr. Floy Quintos, with Musical Direction by Jimmy Antiporda.
