It was so heartbreaking reading this scene from Cursed Princess Club on Webtoon. There's this girl who comes from a different country and doesn't speak the language. Pretty much every person around her in this foreign country says she is ugly. At first she doesn't understand what they are saying, but as time goes by and her studies progress she understands more and more of what's said about her. The most heartbreaking part is that she's learning the language through their unkind words, through their insults.
And what breaks me the most is that she is considered ugly only because she has different facial features, a different skin colour and a different type of hair from what's typical in that foreign country. In her homeland she's a typical girl. A beautiful girl.
