This dragon is so well flushed out in your lore. I love that they are the life of the party but also carrying around some pretty heavy, shade touched baggage. I’, digging how you kept the palette mainly grey with flashes of red. With the teal wings, it definitely makes for an interesting color combo, but it somehow works and just makes the dragon look super unique.
Ranarr
ugh I just wanna hug this gal. But first - her looks. I’m just a huge sucker for matching eyes and these go so well with her secondary. I like how you tied in the orange with the flowers and flowerfall items, and portrayed her insomnia with the accent you gave her. As for what you’ve written about her, she seems like another amazingly well fleshed out dragon. I love how you included details about her relationship with Magebane, and it makes me happy that she has someone looking out for her.
Dolly
Dolly’s accent really drove me to click on her. The golden embers really play off the metallic sheen of the haunted flame items. Blues of the apparel and her eyes go well with her secondary color. Overall, her contrast makes for a pleasant viewing. She’s a precious bean who needs to be protected at all costs but has also had the growth to do some of the protecting and we STAN. She’s such an inspiring dragon.
Aurax
Aurax has got to have THE coolest lore I’ve read in a hot minute. Like...a mute dragon from SPACE? It doesn’t get any cooler than that folks. But not only is her lore cool but her aesthetic is freakin’ amazing too. The accent you’ve put on her really does wonders for keeping the circuit gene more subtle. Her slate wings tie in nicely with the garb and treads. I’m so head over heals for her design that if I don’t stop typing now I’ll never stop complimenting this dragon.
Yuki
I’m not sure if the dragons in this tab were off limits or not but I really would like to commend you on Yuki’s design. The accent blends in so so well with the lanterns, flatfins, and rose thorn apparel. I do like how you kept it simple and subtle by giving Yuki a darker main apparel piece like the bramble mantle. I thoroughly enjoy this funky neon dragon, so I hope you don’t mind in me picking this one for the top 5
