Hallo ich bin ein kind ich hab noch kein namen, ich hab heute einer freundin eine sms geschickt dass ich gerne mit ihr zusammen laterne laufen möchte und da hat sie zurückgerufen und gesagt ja gerne und vielleicht basteln wir auch noch zusammen laternen! Wir ham auch was zum basteln da. Aber wir ham auch ne gekaufte laterne. aber mit richtigen kerzen nicht elektrische. und dann gehn wir zusamm auf einen umzug, vielleicht, auch wenn den vielleicht eine partei macht und wir partein ja nicht so mögen, aber laterne laufen schon! Wir wollten letztes jahr schon umbedingt und das ging dann nicht :( weil alleine schaffen wir das nicht das geht nicht :(

Aber dies Jahr dann schon! :D Ich freu mich schon voll und andere auch das weiß ich! Weil das mögen voll viele hier! Kinder und Große auch, aber das wird was für Kinder! Und die Freundin kommt mit, die is so lieb immer zu uns. :)

Hi I'm a child i don't have a name yet, i texted a friend that I'd like to go to a lantern procession with her and she called back and said yes she'd like that and maybe we'll make our own lanterns together, too! We have stuff for that. But we also have a baught paper lantern. With real candles not electric. and then we'll go to a procession together, maybe, even if a political party organises it and we don't like parties, but we do like lantern processions! We really wanted to go last year already and we couldn't :( because alone we can't it doesn't work :(

But this year then! :D I'm already really excited and others as well I know! Because lots of us like that! Children and grown-ups too, but this is going to be something for the children! And our friend will be there too, she's always so kind to us. :)

It is Germany's children bring who bring light and music to a typically chilly and dark Sankt Martinstag, the feast day for St. Martin of Tours, on November 11. Candle lit lantern processions with children singing, often led by "St. Martin" on his white horse, a "Weckmann" eaten by an open fire, and at end of the day quite probably the traditional supper of "Martinsgans" - Martin's Goose.
