I've got ideas BREWING for an evie!fic, but for now here are some headcanons!

Her full name is Evie Ross, but she tells people that it’s short for Evelyn so it doesn’t seem as childish
She doesn’t mind leaning a bit into being a ‘greaser girl’. The mentality stems from a ‘might as well just prove everyone right’ sort of mindset
But I don’t imagine she’d get too carried away with it. She smokes, she drinks, she curses, but she also has very firm moral boundaries.
trinket girl!!! she's super thrifty, always collecting baggy jackets, rings, laces, etc like other little memorabilia
curly, tightly coiled dark brown hair that she cuts to her shoulder blades. She’s not big on hair grease, except to tame her edges.
Her hair is so important to her, her favorite feature about herself. She takes really good care of it.

She has the biggest smile. Her grin is just always bursting out behind her lips.
Genuinely just so fun-loving. Maybe that was one of the things that first drew Steve to her (because she reminded him of sodapop)
She doesn’t really know what she wants to do with her life. It’s not like tulsa has much to offer for a dark-skinned greaser girl, at any rate
I think she’s one of those people who’re everyone's friend, but no one’s best friend. She’s in so many social circles, but when it comes down to it, no one is approaching her alone. She’s always invited out as part of a larger group.
This leads to a bit of isolation and self-contempt, lots of self-doubt about who she is without other people around.
Part of another reason why she cried when Steve got sent to jail that one time. She couldn’t bear the one person who loved her for herself leaving.
Definitely wants to at least graduate high school, but she doesn’t see much of a life for herself in college. Still, she’ll go if Steve goes.
Really self-aware. Like she’ll have an intrusive thought and clock it immediately. (this doesn’t negate the impact, rather, it often makes it worse. ‘If i can catch it, why can’t I stop it from even appearing?’)
Was really conflicted about dating Steve in the beginning, because she wasn’t sure if she genuinely liked him, or if she just liked the security of ‘having a man’

Her favorite color is navy blue
Her favorite foods are green grapes and circus nuts
Aside from Steve, the next greaser she’s closest to is Two-Bit
