I know ppl get kind of frustrated that some of the practice sentences in Duolingo are pretty unusable and nonsensical.
but as someone taking formal language lessons: every time I'm assigned to write sentences I write nonsense or very silly sentences because it's grammatically correct and funny to both me and my teacher
so here are some example from today:
the first one basically translates to: "I invite you to get out." Which is pretty impolite made only a little polite by the final word which my teacher told me to add. But it made us both laugh really hard.
The 4th sentence translates to "you cannot drink green tea" which is something of an inside joke bc my teacher and I both love to drink green tea
The final pair of sentences goes, "You will marry which person?" To which the response is, "Any person is alright!"
idk it's just fun. Language learning has its ups and downs. laughing at grammatically correct and yet silly sentences is a lot of fun. enjoy the silly sentences bc it can still teach sentence structure and grammar without being boring.
