1. What’s their full name? Why was that chosen? Does it mean anything?
- Láochran. He chose it himself upon awakening. Laochra m pl. plural of laoch (“warrior; hero”)
2. Do they have any titles? How did they get them?
- The Berserker. Because he’s an angry ball of raging force to be reckoned with in battle.
3. Did they have a good childhood? What are fond memories they have of it? What’s a bad memory?
- He had a typical upbringing in the Grove from his mentor...who must have been the most exceedingly patient motherfucker who ever lived because not only does Láochran have raging ADHD, but he was aggressive about getting out there in the world and doing good right away. Impulsively.
So in that way, he felt he was being held back.
4. What is their relationship with their parents? What’s a good and bad memory with them? Did they know both parents?
-He loves Tree Mom to bits <3
5. Do they have any siblings? What’s their names? What is their relationship with them? Has their relationship changed since they were kids to adults?
- He sees Llwyr as a big brother and Jestine as a big sister to him.
6. What were they like at school? Did they enjoy it? Did they finish? What level of higher education did they reach? What subjects did they enjoy? Which did they hate?
- His training as a Warden went by smoothly and he passed his test with flying colors. Of course he immediately got himself into trouble day one out the gate when he decided to challenge LLWYR of ALL PEOPLE to a sparring match...
Needless to say, he got his ass whooped, lmao....
7. Did they have lots of friends as a child? Did they keep any of their childhood friends into adulthood?
-He actually made quite a few friends while he was being mentored that he still holds to this day. But his closest friends are Llwyr, Jestine, Cedric, Kiani, and Liam who are all Wardens together.
8. Did they have pets as a child? Do they have pets as an adult? Do they like animals?
-He actually has a fern hound as a pet! They’re trained for battle and often join him on his rounds.
9. Do animals like them? Do they get on well with animals?
- Yes! Láochran is fantastic with animals! And animals LOVE him. It’s a wonder he wasn’t a ranger upon awakening.
10. Do they like children? Do children like them? Do they have or want any children? What would they be like as a parent? Or as a godparent/babysitter/ect?
- I feel like Láochran likes the idea of children because he likes the idea of raising a child like a human might. He likes the idea of being a father, and in spite of how impulsive he is, he’s actually very responsible and good hearted. I feel like he’d have a hard time being patient, but he’d be very good at playing with children and encouraging their imaginations to grow in games and play fights.
