Happy Labor Day weekend! LA on Cloud 9 volunteers did a bit of labor this morning, as we cleaned up various homeless encampments and the debris and litter in the immediate areas! Cleaned up 3 full blocks on Broadway PL / 37th, 38th and 39th streets! While cleaning, we met and talked with old and new friends, and we left them brooms, pans, and trash bags to keep cleaning up after themselves. We make an effort to educate our homeless residents, and provide them with tools to live in a cleaner environment! Join us next time, as we continue to clean up more camps while teaching the homeless individuals about the importance of maintaining cleaner living conditions for their own benefit and that of the conmunity's! Thanks to the volunteers and friends who joined us today!
