Ok I read the new oneshot (loved it!) and I GOTTA know... Who gave them the alcohol? Remus or Dean?

Dean! Remus is actually... relatively (and i do mean relatively) responsible when it comes to Linda, and probably would have walked them home, or at least followed them home

granted, he may have gotten distracted and/or dragged them into another shenanigan entirely when he did, but like. He’s Trying okay, you can only expect so much from him lakjdkj

Dean, however, grew up with Husband Squad for pseudo-uncles and figures if any kid on earth can take care of herself, drunk or not, it’s Linda, and Percy and Brian are fae and fae-blessed respectively.

He’s pretty sure they’ll live through one drunk walk through the woods (and honestly he’s not really wrong)

I just have a few random questions, it’s fine if you don’t answer them. 1. Is it fey or fae? I’ve seen it multiple ways before 2. Can fey cry? You stated that the salt in Roman’s tears were burning Logan 3. It’s always said that fey are pale in your stories, does that mean they can’t be darker skinned? Or is it just rare?

its both, but they mean different things! “Fae” is a noun, a synonym for “fairy,” “fair folk,” etc (ie, “Logan is a wild fae”) whereas “fey” is an adjective (ie, “that was a very fey expression”)

Fae can cry, but they dont cry saltwater. what they cry varies - Logan cries plain, clear freshwater (like very clean rain), and Virgil’s are also freshwater but theyre very, very cold, to the point where its not impossible for them to freeze on his face

Percy cries pondwater, and after an amusing discussion in the discord we decided that Remus cries the liquid one gets when one squeezes moss

was percy born around the same time as linda and brian? or is she older/younger due to Weird Fae Aging Stuff

no Percy is quite a decent amount older than them - she is just barely old enough to remember Durant’s reign, so theoretically, LAMP immediately post storyline could have come into contact with a toddler Percy. They did not, because Mom Kelpie is incredibly protective of her “delicate Seelie daughter” (ha) and Percy was rarely allowed to wander

Linda is born 10 years after the main story, and she and Brian meet Percy 8 years after that.

so in Kelpie Percy is chronologically somewhere in the early twenties range, and looks a about 10-11, so she’s up till then been aging at about half human speed. she speeds up/mostly syncs with Brian and Linda (more Linda, who she has a mutual crush they both believe to be a rivalry on) until Brian is around 16, at which point he obviously keeps going but Percy and Linda pause

May I ask what's Percy's name? Or is it a spoiler?

“Percy” is short for “Proserpine,” and she is “Proserpine the Younger” because mom kelpies name is also Proserpine!

so Percy's a kelpie like her mom, right? Can she also turn into a horse? because my brain is going back and forth between "that's kelpies' whole deal" and "but it doesn't fit her viiiiiiibbbbbee. and following the letter of the law is for the WEAK!" /j but yeah, either way is cool, I just want to know more about the gremlin child.

Percy cannot turn into a horse form, yet! She is Too Little

She probably gains the ability to do so when B and Linda are ~around 17-18

yep! Percy’s actual given name is in fact Proserpine (and so is her mothers, actually - Percy is Proserpine the Younger)
