hello, violet!! wanted to let you know that i am. fully obsessed with your entire body of works. laoft in particular has had such a huge influence on me- i dyed my hair red because of roman, and i’m taking a tatting class because of virgil. something i’ve been rotating in my brain: is there a world in which thomas is the changeling? or where eirwin doesn’t claim custody of logan’s full moons, but thomas’? he’s already closer to fae than most humans, but how far could that go? what happens when the “human” twin is the more fae of the two?
there is a little file tucked away in the concept folder - it's solid folklore that getting breastfed by a fae has very similar properties as eating fairy food (yes this is cruel, seeing as the child can hardly understand this) and Eirwen would have done this pretty much the second she picked him up. its very reasonable for there to be a latent partial familial bond there - super atrophied, but there. Eirwen has a non-zero claim on thomas - he could legitimately pull off the swap he tried in a blade buried in wet soil in the main story. Eirwen would take it.
this was originally supposed to be part of the main story but then i moved it to the extras folder and it just kept getting pushed back. the main obstacle now is just that ive put it off so long that i have to figure out where to put it in the timeline and how to explain that it hasnt been mentioned yet
