May I request some headcanons of Lapis and Pearl stalking and trying to impress their Half-gem S/O like some sort of competition? I don't see Lapis as someone who would share her S/o

Pearl is certainly more subtle about her ‘crush’ on you, or at least tries to be. Whereas Lapis will just confront you whenever she feels like it, Pearl will take her time stalking you around and watching you from afar.

Lapis certainly isn’t pleased by this however, and starts leaving notes around for you to find, a sticky note on your fridge in the middle of the night, a slip of paper on your desk when you’re not looking, the messages vary from small compliments commenting on your outfit to creepy notes talking about how sweet you look in your sleep.

Pearl, not to be outdone, resorts to stealing your things, taking your hairbrush or stealing clothes straight from your wardrobe. And you swore that shirt you left on the bed was there yesterday-

Things gradually escalate til you’re paranoid, buying new locks for your windows every other day to no avail, as somehow whoever the trespasser is manages to find another way in. It’s then that Lapis approaches you, whom you barely know, offering shelter from your supposed stalker. You’re running out of options by now so you accept, much to your own misfortune.

With Lapis living with you, the amount of notes and stolen things certainly decreases in amount, yet for some reason you don’t feel any safer, which quickly turns out to be accurate when you’re kidnapped by Pearl, and thus the cycle continues.

I have no idea how football works and I’ve only ever done hockey and swimming but that was years ago so don’t expect much ;-;” Sorry!

They are your most avid supporters! Showing up to each and every game without fail, and your practices as often as they can. Sometimes your teammates tease you about it.

Peridot is very enthusiastic about your ‘human activities’. She has no idea how it works, nor why you do it, but she tries her best to support you anyway. She goes so far as to make shirts and signs to hold, they’re never really what you would expect to see, but you can’t crush her excitement.

Lapis understands better than Peri what’s going on, and keeps a careful eye on you at all times to make sure you don’t get hurt. She gets worried by how rowdy the other humans can be, afraid one will damage her favourite human, and there have been incidents. She took the time specifically to learn the rules just to make sure no one on the other team ‘cheats’.

The second the match is over and they get the chance, Lapis will fly over carrying Peri (she has, on more than one occasion forgotten Peridot) to congratulate you, whether you won or lost.

Why not both?

Between Lapis’s lack of socialising over thousands of years and being extremely touch starved, as well as Jasper’s unfamiliarity with interaction in general it’d be an interesting combination.

Lapis is much more discreet than Jasper when it comes to her dislike for other people talking to you. While Jasper wouldn’t think twice about throwing punches over some petty thing like someone nudging you, Lapis would add some cold comment before making up an excuse and escorting you away. Of course if she finds you with the same person multiple times they should probably avoid any large bodies of water for fear of a hand reaching up towards them to slowly choke them to death.

There would obviously be some rivalry between the two, frequent fights breaking out over you and who is more prominent in your life as well as who you love more.

Both of them are very afraid of losing you. Terrified in fact. Jasper has experienced loss before and would fight all three diamonds at once before she lets you go. They might even go so far as to confine you to some abandoned island somewhere. Who knew Lapis’s water chains could be so useful?

If that doesn’t work, they aren’t above fusing together with you or violence to make you stay. Needless to say this new fusion would be incredibly unstable. And volatile. Steven and the gems may have their work cut out for them.

Cuddling consists of you in the middle trapped between them, as Lapis rests one arm on top of you and another tangled in your hair, both legs wrapped securely around you and head wresting in the crook of your neck, with either both of you resting on top of Jasper’s chest or her curled around the two of you on your other side, face buried in your hair while both arms come round to form a bear hug.
