My view from our balcony this morning but what was I thinking??? . Well yesterday turned into an absolute nightmare. Just before I set off my daughter rang crying she had lost the only set of keys to her car. (She lost other set last year!!!!). I was just about to board a plane thus couldn't help... then got normal mother abuse for leaving her in such a mess and selfishly going on holiday. 💩💩💩. So finally arrived got through passport control and went to car hire to find I had lost my passport. It must have fallen out of my bag between walking from customs to the car hire place. We then spent 2 hours searching and retracing my steps which was actually one straight line as hadn't been anywhere else. It also hadn't been handed in anywhere. Then had to sit filling out forms for a further hour with the Guardia Seville. I now have to go to the British Consulate in Malaga to get an Emergency Travel Document to get home. No big deal as fancied looking round the Old Town of Malaga anyway. However it has scuppered our plans for a day trip to Morocco because I will only be able to use the document for traveling home 😢😢😢. Plus I will have to pay £100 for it then another £80 when I get home for a new one. Upside is my needed renewing after Xmas so it's not like I lost 5 years of it. I like to try and look at the positives rather than negatives.😁.
