Someone sent me their faceclaim for Eleanor a while ago (Emily Bader, which I can completely see) and it sent me down a spiral of thinking about potential faceclaims for the other RB characters not a part of the original LotR trilogy... So now that both LM and CM are done, I tried my hand at creating typesets for all the RB books and I am rather proud of the results so far 💜

Just checking in to happily (and tiredly) let y'all know that both Lapsus Memoriae and Compos Mentis are now finished being edited and updated on AO3! Each chapter has it's own epigraph, and once I've had a little break to rest and reset, I'll be getting to work on the first 5 chapters of Amabilis Insania. ❤️

Just a super quick update from me: Lapsus Memeoriae is now finished being lightly edited on AO3, and each chatper now as an epigraph header.

Compos Mentis is up next, after which I'll be starting work on Amabilis Insania. ❤️

My latest unhinged shower-thought as I make my way through editing LM:

Eleanor’s sense of smell/taste is so honed from her medical training (and her love to British builder’s tea) that she can usually tell which one of her friends has brewed a cup of tea just by smelling it.

Aragorn always makes it just a shade too weak, as if he’s impatient to just drink it while it’s still scalding.

Gimli lets it stew until it’s almost too bitter to drink.

Boromir is a bit heavy-handed with the milk, probably from not having to go without for much of his life.

Legolas is the only one (other than Gandalf and the Hobbits, obviously) who can brew one almost perfectly, and that’s only because Eleanor taught (read: bullied) him exactly how in Lothlorien.

Here’s the final version of a handbound copy of RealityWarp’s Ràvamë’s Bane series! This is the first volume (Lapsus Memoriae) and I hope to bind the second volume once it’s complete. This fanfic holds such a special place in my heart and I wanted to create a book as beautiful as it is. Thank you Rella for sharing your work with the world, it is dearly loved 🥰

One Gigantic “Thank You” + New Covers

So it’s been almost three years since I took the plunge and started posting Rávamë’s Bane online, and in that time I’ve never stopped being being amazed by how supportive everyone who’s read it has been...

But never more so than over the past few days when I came back online from a six-month-long hiatus. 

As most of you probably already know, this is the longest I’ve ever gone without an update, and you have no idea how good it feels to finally be able to come home to writing again. But what’s been ten times better has been the love and encouragement I got from each and every one of you. It’s been incredibly moving. So, in celebration of finally ending my unplanned hiatus, and in thanks for sticking with me even when it gets quiet, I’ve done a redesign of the series covers (because that happens to be what I do irl).

Hope you guys love them as much as I did creating them. So much love to you all.
