VAR

Var is one of Frigg’s loyal handmaidens and a goddess of oaths and agreements in Norse mythology. She attentively listens when people make promises, ensuring their words are honored. If anyone dares to break an oath, Var enacts justice, punishing those who betray their vows. Though not as widely known as other deities, Var embodies the Norse belief in honor and the binding power of one’s word.

E l'arbitro che dà la seconda ammonizione, con conseguente espulsione, a un giocatore del tutto incolpevole anziché all'onesto, anch'egli già ammonito, che con tale palese simulazione avrebbe meritato lui d'essere espulso.

In tutto questo, abbiamo un VAR che da regolamento, mai cambiato dalla sua prima introduzione, non può intervenire solamente perché non si tratta di una espulsione diretta.

In quale universo una seconda espulsione ingiusta è meno grave di una espulsione diretta ingiusta?

E dopo tutto questo ci ritroviamo un altro giocatore dell'Inter e della Nazionale fulgido esempio di antisportività.
