🌸🌱Sarra Mini Headcanons: Batch #4🍪

Sarra is not fond of swimming because her feathers become waterlogged 

Sarra’s favorite colors are a tie between pink and green

Sarra’s favorite season is spring because of all the new plant growth

Sarra’s favorite breakfast is the Star Wars equivalent of steak, eggs, and potatoes

Sarra is an extremely detailed notetaker

Sarra has only received an embrace from her biological mother once

Sarra is a night owl as she will stay up until dawn reading scientific holo-articles. But after Arc #1, Sarra does wake up earlier in the mornings to meditate

Fun Fact!: Initially, Sarra was designed with lavender/purple skin. But, Young Jedi Adventures already featured a Theelin with purple skin (Gossi- a pirate from the Comet Runners). Not wanting to be too similar, I redesigned Sarra with dark pink/magenta skin

🌸 Sarra does learn how to swim. Master Zia and Master Drow teach her in the shallows of Kublop Springs (of course, Sarra soaks/splashes Wes and Celesta with every opportunity!😂)

🌸 Inspired by how my dad instructed me how to assemble a breakfast burrito (and burritos are one of my favorite foods!), Master Drow teaches Sarra how to cook and build her own breakfast burritos. Sarra often brings her burritos to early morning trainings and research trips 🌯

Some Hotshot Trio Lore 🩷💛🩵

I don’t want to pick favorites, but The Hotshot Trio’s- Sarra, Wes, & Celesta- relationships may be my favorite aspect of my YJA AU! They’re so supportive, understanding, loving, and open to another.🩷💛🩵

However, Sarra, Wes, and Celesta did not begin as friends. To say they were enemies would be an understatement. Wes and Celesta despised Sarra, and Sarra’s hatred towards (and fear of) the padawans were mutual- but, not without reasons. 

When Sarra unleashed the Drengir-Nameless hybrids on Tenoo, Wes and Celesta nearly lost everything: their Masters and newly-knighted Jedi Knight Bell, the younglings and their non-Force wielding friends, who they were responsible for, the planet and Wes’ home, each other, and their connection to the Force itself. 

Naive and oblivious to the Drengir-Nameless hybrids’ devastating effects on Force-wielders (and herself), Sarra never understood the magnitude of her secret mission until she was taken prisoner by Wes, Celesta, and Bell. Wes and Celesta relentlessly antagonized Sarra, but padawans’ villainizing of her persisted even after Sarra learned the truth of the hybrids, became the Champion of Tenoo, and joined Team Tenoo. Tensions escalated between the padawans and those defending Sarra: the kind-hearted younglings, Cyrus, and especially Bell.

All three were at fault, but no one deserved all the blame. But once Wes, Celesta, and Sarra realized they were more similar than different- and Wes and Celesta understood they could genuinely care for Sarra in contrast to the Drengir-Nameless hybrids’ parasitic manipulation of her and her Force- the trio reconcile and band together to defeat the hybrids on Tenoo.

The Hotshot Trio’s beginnings are complex and their relationships transform over time (everything hasn’t been revealed yet), but I hope the trio’s transition from sworn enemies to best friends to something else in the future (NOT romantic) makes sense and is believable. Especially if I describe the three’s friendship in one post and then write about how Wes and Celesta hate Sarra’s guts and vice versa in the next.😅

I also want to mention I took creative liberties in further exploring/expanding Wes’ and Celesta’s canon characters as the padawans aren’t majorly featured in YJA (Wes is only present in ten episodes, Celesta is half of that). And I’m proud of my personal explorations- from Celesta’s constant care of others that sometimes she forgets about herself to Wes’ protectiveness of others and drive to be reckless, adventurous, and sometimes aggressive in order to be/feel brave. Also, before and after Sarra joins the trio, Wes and Celesta are very good friends to one another: they fight for and defend each other- especially during their multiple, near-death experiences, they celebrate and console one another, and they stick together- even when the entire galaxy (or Bell and Team Tenoo) is against them. However, the two padawans sometimes feed off of each other’s negativity/strong emotions and in some scenes of my YJA AU, I refer to Wes and Celesta as the Dangerous/Disastrous Duo…

As the release of YJA Season 3 approaches, I’m anxious Season 3’s canon events may contradict a storyline I created for the Hotshot Trio (featuring padawan Sarra 👀). I want to remain as true as I can to the source material/inspiration- the YJA series; but, I also feel like my worries are somewhat illogical since Sarra exists in an AU in which I can do whatever the galaxy I want. I’ll wait until Season 3 actually releases, but I guess- are my worries valid, or am I becoming flustered for no reason?😅

🌸 Sarra Mini Headcanons: Batch #3 🍪

Yes, Sarra wields a pink-bladed lightsaber (Wookieepedia states pink is a canon color for a kyber crystal)

Fun Fact!: Sarra initially was going to wield a purple-bladed lightsaber. But, Lys already has one. Not wanting to be repetitive and to have Sarra be unique and distinct from Team Tenoo, Sarra now has a pink lightsaber

Not specifically related to Sarra, but…

Whenever Wes senses Sarra through the Force, Sarra’s breeze/air current comes with the smell of earth after a rainfall; the strength of Sarra’s breeze nearly rivals Celesta’s 

Whenever Celesta senses Sarra through the Force, Sarra’s star has a green glow; the brightness of Sarra’s star nearly rivals Wes’

Aka: If you mess with Sarra, Wes and Celesta will mess with you 🫵 (at least after Arc #1, especially after Arc #2)

Sarra is fond of her medium-length/long hair. However, no one- not even her mother- taught her how to care for her hair or style it. Even though the length of her hair is a potential hazard in her lab, Sarra often keeps her hair down or attempts to tie it up in a messy ponytail. After Arc #1, Celesta is the first person who teaches Sarra how to properly care for and style her hair, initially arranging it for her. (Lys helps periodically, too)

Wes also braids and arranges Sarra’s hair into buns. And Sarra really enjoys the padawans’ company/companionship when they are doing her hair

Sarra’s favorite beverage is Mintea

After Arc #2, when Wes and Celesta start drinking caf, Sarra also begins to drink caf like the padawans- even though it isn’t as good as Mintea. Sarra prefers her caf with extra cream and sweeteners/syrups so the drink’s strong flavors are diluted (similar to a mocha)

Fun Fact!: If Wes, Celesta, and Sarra were to ever use code names, the trio would use their Warrior Cats names which I created: Sunkestrel (Wes), Moonspire (Celesta), and Fawnfeather (Sarra)
