Talented and well-received Hong Kong-based photographer Laura Simonsen debuts her newest project in this solo exhibition titled, ‘Why Not Here?’ The question refers to the subject of the series- the fact that same-sex couples are denied the right to marry in Hong Kong. Simonsen’s work makes the statement that marriage equality is a human right and there is no reason it should be denied to the LGBT+ community.
