The Gambler: On August 26th of 1980, workers at The Harvey's Resort & Casino, in Lake Tahoe, discovered a finely crafted mystery box; roughly the shape of a photocopier. It had been installed by two unknown men, posing as IBM delivery men, during the day. Little did anyone know at that moment that they were already in the grip of a mad bombers evil genius plot. When they found the note attached to the box, things became clear. The letter detailed the complex design of the box and taunted police by proudly exalting it's own ingenuity of design, and imperviousness to any attempts to defuse it... and... unlike in a movie, the bomber was right. When the Casino refused to pay a ransom, the police had no alternative but to detonate it... causing $12 million in damages. All the neighboring casinos began running odds on when the bomb would go off. Among the big winners who knew the approximate time that the bomb would go off, was a local restaurant owner who had lost big at Harvey's and needed a big payoff.
