24: Casual, Hardcore, or in the middle?
I suppose to me all that matters is how good the game/story is behind the difficulty. If a game has a really engaging and cool story I will usually work my way through it no matter the difficulty.
Though when I choose a difficulty I usually go with Easy-Normal, I just don’t have the time nor energy anymore to dedicate to slogging through hard sections like I used to. Playing games for me is a fun thing to do to de-stress and getting worked up about not being able to beat ‘Gates of Hell’ in The Last Remnant is not something I want to do ever again because man those were some dark times.
