No one could deny Azael was attractive, not even Lara, who already had a boyfriend. But she was loyal so she didn't give a crap about Azael back then. Azael left with Patt during that time, and Lara joined Wolf Howl guild, as she was dating Ryu by that time. Some time after that, Fairy Tail reborns again with all the members reunited, and Azael and Lara meet again. The blonde demon seemed to enjoy flirting with her or just messing with her, and she kinda enjoyed it too, but she was dating Ryu still, so she just ignored Azael's constant insinuations. Then some time later Lara and Ryu broke up due to the fact that they were more time apart than together, and that's when Azael decides to try luck with her, practically forcing her to go and a date with him around Magnolia. They started spending the days together and Lara found herself enjoying his company more than she originally planned, and so happened with Azael as well, as he was almost every day in Lara's house or simply near her. And he liked it, even if he didn't understand why he felt like that. Even though their relationship is a complicated one due to Azael's personality, neither of them give up on each other. They had some serious fights but somehow they manage to come back together, they always do.
Relationship: They have a complicated relationship, mainly 'cause Azael is a really complicated person. He has a troublesome personality due to his psychopathic disorder, and when he is in a good mood he is irresistible to Lara, but when he’s not...Well, Lara's not afraid to face him, but she could easily get hurt by him, 'cause when he loses control over his psychopathic side he's a total danger. If that happens Azael feels really guilty and becomes more distant in attempt for her to be safer. Which of course doesn't always work 'cause Lara doesn't give up easily, even if she's scared that Azael might get tired of her and leave her, she loves him, and she wouldn't do it. Azael doesn't want to leave her, as she may think, but sometimes he thinks that's the best for her.
