Can you tell us a bit about your piece? ''if i remember correctly, it was inspired by some boy band sort of stuff i had gotten attached to at the time – the idea of a jack + lardo + shitty matching outfits photoshoot was also just really entertaining to me and i knew in my head they each had distinct colors to use for the suits (at least to me lol) :)''

How did you feel about the journey of participating in this volume? ''i have a tendency to change my mind on ideas the moment something else fun pops into my head so a lot of the journey was figuring out what appealed most, but i think in the end i had a lot of fun getting to that point and eventually seeing the volume in its entirety !!!!'' Tell us a bit about yourself and where our audience can find you! ''i’m a really casual and for fun artist who makes things because it’s exciting to see ideas actually turn into something i can see, and i love having a way to appreciate the media and characters i enjoy :)) i’m cowbeaus on most social medias but currently using elclon as a handle on my main tumblr blog !!!''

Today I took the Nerdfighteria census. I'm pretty sure that the 2017 Nerdfighteria census was the first form I ever filled out where I checked a gender box other than "woman." This inspired the bit in "you don't have to sing it right (but who could call you wrong)" where one of Lardo's early forays into exploring their gender identity is checking the "nonbinary/other" box on anonymous surveys. I thought this was a fun bit of lore to remember, so I'm sharing it with y'all.
