William and Monica are engaged and have been since a young age. Damien has been William's best friend for longer
Eventually way later down the line. William is put under a curse that needs true loves kiss to wake him and Monica is like "I can't. I love someone else. My love isn't true" (very important for her character at this point btw). So Damien is like "then I will"
William assumes it was Monica who kissed him
Three years later, after alot of shit. William finally realizes he's gay but is like. "I can't kiss him now, I'm married"
After more shit, they have their second kiss. And William reveals THAT HE FUCKING KNEW IT WAS DAMIEN THE WHOLE TIME
HE KNEW IT WASN'T MONICA AND WAS DAMIEN AND WAS STILL LIKE: "I'm straight"!? TRUE LOVE GOES BOTH WAYS BUDDY! FATE SAID YOU'RE GAY
They're silly and I love them, I loved the relationship progression, and this is one of them smaller ones since neither are a main character, but how they got there is so stupid I just love it
