What Large Printers “actually print” on paper
Printers, especially, the large printers and the organized ones, are of great use and vitality to us. A major part of our social life – be it books or magazines, newspapers or tabloids, the college forms, etc.; or socioeconomic life – shopping trends and choices, your favorite products, etc., revolve around printed materials.
Sometimes, in the form of a giant poster in your neighborhood’s yard or on the top of the estate building you work, everyone wants to say something to you, present you something so that you can visually and mentally observe and retain them in your mind.
Now, the large printers print according to a printing-color system. Usually it’s the CMYK. Whatever colored is printed; it is calculated as per the CMYK color values and their hues interpretation. There is the other major color-system – three-color system of RGB. But it is representative, i.e., it’s not actually printed. It is for viewing on screens only. And, even if printed, the RGB color values are converted into CMYK to get the standard color type and color set which makes printing easier and quicker.
Many programs have the capability to convert the layout/images from the RGB color space to the CMYK color space. We request that you convert your colors from RGB to CMYK if your tools allow you to. By doing it yourself, you have maximum control over the results. You may notice a shift in color when converting from RGB to CMYK.
Strategic Printing Solutions is one of the very few printing companies with excellent large printers designed to print huge-size print materials.
