There are several friends of this boy’s species in a tunnel near my house!!!! I believe the ID is Furrow Orb Weaver- Larinioides Cornutus! This one is a mature male (look at those boxing glove palps!!!) and he’s one of 3+ I saw in the tunnel making/maintaining their webs and eating their meals!

Menacing furrow orbweaver

I poked her for science. We were both very uncomfortable.

I know this may not be the most pleasant photo, however, I’ve found that exposing myself to my true fears often helps me to overcome them. This, to my belief, is a furrow spider (Larinioides cornutus)
