Eittie & Jake

Jake stood back by the stairs watching people dance and gab in the lawn as the music played. He had come to the park to enjoy the music and forget about work for a day. His mom had asked for breakfast and he decided to stay in London instead of immediately heading back to San Diego. Jake hadnt heard Eittie behind him. But he saw some motion and turned. He smiled and nodded. “You probably dont remember me. But we’ve talked on the hub before a few months ago.” He gestured for her to go ahead of him. And when she led the way he took in the elegance and wildness in her appearance. She didnt seem like someone he would be able to figure out any time soon and he welcomed it with a smile. “Are you sharing?” Jake gestured to the bottle in her hand.
Eittie let her eyes hover on his face a moment, taking in his features as she tried to remember their conversation. It was only a few seconds until her expression cleared into a bright smile and she jumped down the last step only to push up on her toes to press a kiss to his cheek warmly. ‘Jake! Yes, I remember now! I remember you were rather surprised at me finding you attractive, yes?’ Glancing back up at the pavilion building to make sure no one had followed her, she turned towards the grass, taking his hand before he could object and heading off the path. ‘I’m sharing with you of course! One can’t ignore kismet when it appears before them.’ Eittie’s dress swished around her bare feet, the formal attire completely out of place now that she was out of the event and into the more relaxed atmosphere of the park. Heading towards the long water which lead into the Serpentine. Finding a spot which was basked in the gold sunset, not far from the crowds, Eittie took a seat on the grass, letting go of his hand to start to open the bottle. ‘What brings you to London? You live in the states, right?’
