I imagine that Sawdust just starts collecting kits. Like he's talking to Bearwish, and a bunch of tiny children come walking after him.

Sawdust left Larkscar to look after them for a bit, but they tired him out so he fell asleep and came looking for Sawdust.

Bearwish is not surprised.

considering how Kramer was with the kid in X, I can definitely see it lol
