My mentor (the dude in the picture) passed away 2 years ago.. I was in another country and was coming home a week later to the day he was killed on impact, it was one of the worst things to ever happen in my life.. But he taught me the way that God loves me just by being a friend, unconditionally without a benefit of a doubt caring for my future, just as God does for us all.. I can't believe he's gone, I can't believe I haven't gotten a chance to see him bust out in a random song that nobody else knew but he loved, I can't believe that he's not sitting at Starbucks drinking 6 cups of coffee making everyone in the store laugh bc he had the most positive attitude about everything, I don't know how I made it this far without his annoying lectures, and his pestering but it's because of him and his love for our father in heaven that gives me hope and relieves my anxious heart. Its really hard to say goodbye to ppl you love, it's really hard to never see them again after that, it really sucks when you just don't have the answers and just can't see it still, it's so hard to not see you or hear your voice from down the hall, but each day it gets harder I know that I'm only steps closer to seeing what you saw in me and the destiny that God has for me even if I second guess everything. Thank you for your imprint and your love, you meant that and I'll never forget it💛
