Hii, a while ago you mentioned that you kept a google calendar for Harry and Louis and I'm just really curious about your process of making that. Like what things go in there, only really official things (like tour shows) or even things that were going on within the fandom? And is it like actually a complete Larry timeline, bc I imagine that would take so long to research and make, yet also be such a great resource. Anyway, I hope this isn't coming of as weird or anything, I'm just genuinely curious!

Omg you’re asking me about my favourite project!!
So, basically, I’ve created Google calendars for the purpose of quickly being able to look up when what happened. My idea was to create it as if it was their actual calendars + stuff that happened that’s important.
Basically, starting with their audition for XFactor, I tried to research/estimate when what happened, and put it into the calendar as “events”. It’s got all the 1D tour dates in there, I’m working on putting all interviews in there, and all other public appearances. I’m also putting in there all known whereabouts of theirs, to for example see when we knew where they were, when they were MIA, when we got pics to show they were somewhere but maybe weren’t even there.
I made separate calendars for Harry, Louis, 1D (that double functions as LTHQ/HSHQ/Promo), RBBSBB, living situations and songs they wrote so if you added all those calendars to your calendar you can choose what shows and then you’ve got colour coded entries in the calendar.
I’m working on putting context in the descriptions (for example tour set lists & links to Spotify playlists) and links to videos & photos to each event.
I put in articles that are being published about them with links, esp. concerning bbg to get an idea how the waves of pr work.
The whole idea is to see stuff in context.
So far, the detailed timeline I’ve gotten until September 2012 I think? Like I put stunt pap walks in there as well.
I also try to keep track of stuff happening rn, like the John Delf playlists, I’ve put into the calendar when which song was added which gives you crazy insight as well (ahem, LTWTLA for example 👀).
It’s work in progress but I’m seriously having so much fun working at it, and I’ll probably some time in the future will make a masterpost with all the links and a how to add them to a Google calendar step by step guide. I’m obviously relying heavily on timelines made by fellow fans, so I kinda wanna make sure I credit them in the masterpost
But so far it’s really helped me already SO MUCH with putting stuff in context it’s insane :)
