MacAdams tho best known for her documenting the feminist movement in its infancy, was close to so many of the downtown New York City poets & writers, that it was only natural she’d end up following them to Boulder in Naropa’s early years. She’s most recently featured in the 2018 Netflix documentary “Feminists: What Were They thinking” & some of her work is up on http://cynthiamacadamsphotographer.com & all her books are well worth tracking down.
