Larry Keenan: I do not consider myself a Beat. Nor do the Beats consider me one of them. I have not been in jail or an asylum for my beliefs. Through their efforts I am very sympathetic and owe them much for changing our culture. Before he died, I told #AllenGinsberg that "I was only there for the last ten minutes" and he said, "you got there just in time".
