As this post gets sent, it would officially have been 4 years since I met my bestest friend, my dearest buddy, my loveliest wife and QPR @kawaiifan34.

I seriously can’t believe it. It’s been 4 years since you came to my DMs, told me you were straying away from a certain server, and then we chatted, every day since then, without fail. Through it all, I never once regretted saying hello to you. So much has happened since then. You adopted the nickname I gave you. We got into Ikenfell, Detective Grimoire, Project Sekai, Limbus Company, so much more. From every Brawlhalla stream we did, to every doodle you made. Every time we talked, it brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it. 15 year old me would be shocked to find out we’d end up becoming queerplatonic. Silly as it might sound, I’m sure he would be kicking his feet knowing he’s with his platonic/possibly romantic crush right now.

And through it all, I fought tooth and nail so that we could be together. Even when you lost your Discord account, even when Discord got banned there, I never wanted to lose you. You mean the world to me.

And here I am now, actively pursuing the things I love most when nobody else believed in me. I began to love voice acting again, and now we’re in a project together. All because you messaged me 4 years ago today. I don’t think I could ever imagine a life without you. Without your smile or your support. No matter how hard life gets, I can always sleep peacefully knowing you’re always by my side. I’ll keep on living if it means I’ll get to be with you someday soon. One day, we’ll be together and spend the rest of our lives being with each other.

I love you, Ley. Thank you for the most amazing 4 years of my life. You’ve brought joy into my life when I thought it would never happen. Here’s to another four, four hundred, forever years with you. Thank you for everything, my dearest buddy. My dollop of hot honey. <33333

I just saw a thing talking about stright women geting married to eachouther not becuse there lesbains but to like have a house together or espically 2 single moms so they can have a coparent. That is QPR like that is a non romantic relationship going outside the bounds of what is considered social norms. Which for the record I'm all for it. Especially considering no one has time to date anyways and men are offten the worse. This is why I'm like so passionate about QPR becuse like they open the door for so many more options of how to live your life.

okay can we stop trying to give queer platonic relationships definitions BECAUSE THAT DEFEATS THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF THEM. QPRs are different for every person in one. Its not always just a "relationship with only platonic attraction". Yes, for a lot of people it can be that. And that is 100% okay!!! Thats awesome!! But that doesn't describe everyone!! Its a relationship that goes outside the societal norms of whats expected from a platonic relationship but also doesnt align or fully align with what people think of as romance. Qprs can be for people who experience alterous attraction, people on the aroace spectrum who still feel some forms of romantic and sexual attraction, cupioromantic and cupiosexual people, and so many more possibilities its insane. The only thing they can be is a replacement for your romantic relationships. Its called a queer platonic relationship for a reason, its mean to go outside the norms of what people expect in a platonic relationship. There is no rules for anyone in a QPR. Its a label, if two people say that they are in a qpr, then they're in one! Its that simple!! There's supposed to be no guidelines, that's the whole point. It is completely up to the people in that relationship and their boundaries. If you stayed and read all this props to you. I just wanted to rant lol.
