Sex, Pity and Loneliness [trailer]
Satire about sex, pity and loneliness among contemporary German urbanites, and the difficulties to have a healthy relationship.
The superb acting ensemble portrays mostly tragic characters. But the movie does an excellent job to keep a darkly funny tone most of the time.
The production design and cinematography is striking too. With lots of memorable settings.
I liked the nightclub in the aquarium where one couple met for a date. Everybody wearing headphones to listen to the loud music and dance, it still allows to have conversations when taking them off.
