Caught in the rain

Tanjiro was walking with Milo back to the butterfly mansion from her uncle’s house.
A rain drop lands on Milo’s left cat ear and it twitches.
Her eyes widen slightly. “Rain..” She says softly and Tanjiro smiles softly at her.
“Here.. Let’s see if we can find a place to hide from the rain..” He said as he pulled Milo into him so she wouldn’t get too cold. (Milo is a temperature sensitive bbg)
Tanjiro shields Milo from the cold rain as best as he can, ultimately failing somewhat.
They eventually find a cavelike structure and Tanjiro lets Milo go in first.
Milo’s cold body shivered against Tanjiro’s warmer body.
“Angel are you ok?” He asks worriedly.
Milo nods and snuggles into his warmth. “Yeah, just a bit cold..”
Tanjiro wraps both arms around Milo and pulls her into him so she’ll be warmer and she snuggles into him.
The 2 of them eventually fall asleep to the sound of the rain.
Milo’s cheek was squished into Tanjiro’s chest and she was curled up in a ball against him. Tanjiro had both his arms wrapped around Milo’s body protectively and his haori laid draped over their bodies.
They sleep peacefully with each other all the way until the rain stops falling and the sun is gently lighting the area with a warm glow as it slowly sets.

In the midst of the mist

Kiyoka sped through the streets, searching for the demon attacking the city she had been sent to.
She heard a low growl and she spun around, seeing the demon in a dark alleyway.
“Found you.” The girl said, sprinting to the alleyway and unsheathing her katana.
She chopped at the demon’s neck then the surrounding area became shrouded with mist.
She realized her sword wasn’t going through the demon’s flesh.
The demon’s head fell to the ground and the mist cleared away, a figure with long dark hair with mint tips appeared in the darkness.
The mist hashira, Muichiro Tokito.
Kiyoka gazed at him with interest, she’d never interacted with him before.
Muichiro walks out of the shadow, noticing the girl’s curious gaze in his direction.
“You didn’t get hurt did you?” He asks suddenly then Kiyoka shakes her head.
“No i’m fine.” She says with a small smile.
Muichiro nods then comes closer to her. “Hm, that’s good.”

After that day, Kiyoka and Muichiro started to hang out more (when they were free ofc, Muichiro is a busy hashira and Kiyoka has her own missions).
They had grown quite close and Kiyoka had found herself having butterflies in her stomach when around the mist hashira.
Muichiro was quite fond of Kiyoka, even nicknaming her ‘Kiyo’.
Muichiro realized that the way he felt about her was definitely not how he felt about anyone before now.
He realized he loved her.
“Hey Kiyo? I want to show you something.” Muichiro said, his face dusted with a light pink blush.
“O-ok, Mui..” Kiyoka muttered, following behind him.
Muichiro went up to the door of the mist estate. “Wait out here.” He spoke calmly with a hint of excitement and Kiyoka nodded, waiting outside.
Around 2 minutes later, Muichiro came back out with something behind his back.
“I made this for you..” He said softly, pulling it out from behind him.
It was a heart origami that had ‘Muichiro x Kiyoka’ written on it.
Kiyoka smiled, carefully taking the carefully folded heart.
“Mui, this is beautiful! I love it!” She said, giving him a hug.
He hesitantly hugged her back, blushing slightly.
He pulled back slightly to look her in the eyes. “I love you, Kiyo.” He said, giving her a kiss on the cheek.
Kiyoka looked at him with love-struck eyes, she smiled softly. “I love you too, Mui.”
