Watching tvl episode 3 and feeling emotionally moved by the tragedy of Lestat's life but shaking my head the entire time to show that I don't approve of his vampirism. Thats how some people want me to post apparently

ok one more post complaining about the iwtv fandom and then I’m done for today. It’s wild how how many people complain about specific scenes being “played for laughs” or too comedic when I spent the entire episode nauseous and horrified lol

I don’t think a horror tv show doing something for shock value is inherently bad. Sometimes shocking the audience is what is needed for the story. I understand that the scene with Gabrielle and Jarda makes people really uncomfortable but well. That is what it is meant to do. They’re not trying to tastefully imply incestuous abuse in a sensitive and careful way, they want the audience to feel horrified and disgusted with Gabrielle.

I feel a bit old man yelling at cloud whenever I complain about ppl making up conspiracies about TV show promo. But can you believe there's people who genuinely think the Regina promo picture was posted this late because the pr team is evil and not because now is an appropriate moment in the story to put more focus on her. I'm always saying this but I need everyone to either develop an adult understanding of promotion or shut up
