“You think my hair is a distraction while we’re fucking?” Carson asked as he raised a brow, “Well, in that case I guess it has to go then. I can’t have you distracted in the sack” he winked.

Billy wasn’t the party boy type, he just never had been. He wasn’t reclusive or nervous about them, they just weren’t his thing. The idea of being surrounded by people he mostly didn’t know and watching them get drunk and yelling over loud music wasn’t his idea of a good time. But his recent college boyfriend Ethan was ‘Mister Popular’ around his college campus and had worn him down about going until he’d eventually given in. It hadn’t been too bad, he knew a few people but then Ethan had gotten a little too drunk and handy before passing out which meant Billy didn’t have a ride home. Billy himself had only had one beer and hadn’t liked the taste much, even in his late year of high school he’d never really seen the point of it.
So one bus journey and struggle with Google Maps later, he eventually found himself back at his step father’s almost ridiculously large house - with a gated entrance to boot which made getting inside something of a challenge. But he struggled valiantly until he got over and used his spare key to get inside, a little past one o’clock when he tip toed inside. He’d been heading for his room when the lights were suddenly on and like a deer in the headlights he turned his head and knew exactly who he’d see. Well. Crap.
Angel was pissed about this. Not because he really gave a fuck what his mother did in her spare time, good for her if she was getting laid, but because he had so many better things to do with his time than meet this guy. Either way, he didn’t have the energy for an argument over this, so he’d agreed to turn up. The house didn’t look too shabby, Angel looking up at it while his mother knocked on the door. He unzipped his leather jacket, making sure it wasn’t obvious he had knives in his pocket (that probably wasn’t the best first impression), and got ready to sit through a few hours of pleasantries and polite conversation.

@lasciiivious Casey sighed as he mixed chemical after chemical. He was waiting for someone to come into the lab. His eyes shifted from their normal brown to his bright yellow when he heard a fizzling. "YES!" He said running for the door and locking it before there was a massive poof and green smile that enveloped the now closed room. He heard footsteps behind him and turned around only to pale when seeing it was victor, his boss. "Um. Sir this was a mistake. I didn't mean for this to happen."

It was one of those moments, really – not that Steve secretly hated everyone or anyone on the team – but there were times when he usually found himself in a certain ease whenever he is with the company that he had with him. It’s just..it was a nice feeling; an easy smile and an easy laugh that even if his clothes were already soaked in sweat and he already found himself a bit winded that his thick pecs swelled against his shirt, everything still felt like good fun – and it wasn’t even entirely because of their bad jokes that they both found amusement in, nor was it entirely because of the little games and competitions that they cook up whenever they found themselves alone in the base’s gym. It’s just…Thor is just really good to be around with. And within his laughter, Steve found himself catching a sigh as he looked onto his good friend.
Maybe it was because they found equal footing on most things; their skills and how they easily became the muscle of the group, how they both seem on the game of getting a grip on things despite the irony of Steve trying to keep up with the things that came after his coma and with how Thor was trying to slow his notions of his realm’s advancements just so they can both deal with what’s what… of how it was easy to agree with his ideals… on how he viewed things… on how he saw things. Sometimes simply. Always differently. That there was no pressure, really – Steve didn’t find himself comparing if he knew enough to be not lost in his own planet; on whether or not he was too old fashioned or if he was getting ahead of himself. It’s just… it was weirdly easy to be around Thor – that around him, it was easy enough to not focus on anything of Earth just so he can be on Earth…to be there enough to be instead of trying to be. To just merely deal with simple things. Mundane things. Fun things…like who won the bicep curls – to which obviously, it’s Thor. His biceps are practically bigger than a human head.
“---------good thing I wasn’t as competitive. I can’t seem to win at anything against you…” Steve chuckled, his chest bounced with his rhythm.

The grand fortress of Skyhold had served the Inquisition for over eight years now, it had been once the home to the rebirth of their fight against Corypheus and had given them a second chance. Now it served as the place where the greatest independent power of Thedas was held, overlooking both Ferelden and Orlais and causing great concern to both kingdoms. Yet they continued onwards, working to make sure peace continued throughout the land and doing what they must. Their reach was not as great as it once was, seeing as Josephine continued to work tirelessly to make sure peace remained for the Inquisition for Ferelden and Orlais. Truth be told Selhen wondered how long the Inquisition would last and if they should disband eventually. With Lelianna as the new Divine it strengthened their position for the moment, but the Inquisitor couldn’t help but think about the future and what it held in store for all of them.
But as the elf walked through and entered the castle gates once more, he couldn’t help but feel a faint smile on his face when he saw everyone still tiredlessly working away, devoted to this cause and willing to follow him through it all. Most of his companions remained, Varric had returned to Kirkwall but would write often and had visited once or twice, Vivenne was as busy as always but made sure to make a social call now and again.
Then, of course, there was Dorian.
Dorian.
He still remembered meeting him the first time, being stunned both by his ability to rattle off sentence after sentence without a moment’s pause, as well as simply been taking away by how beautiful he’d been. What a scandal they had been, a Tevinter mage and an Elf Inquisitor - the stories and rumors that came from them were endless. It had been eight years since he met that man, eight years since he’d fallen in love and given himself to someone for the very first time. Even with an ocean between them and so many miles, they were sill each other’s missing piece. As Dorian continued to re-build Tevinter in a better image and Selhen still continuing to fight for a better world for all that needed them. But that didn’t make the ache any less intense sometimes, though the sending crystal made things easier; being able to hear his voice and see his face before he went to sleep made it worth it. But still, it was never quite the same.
“Inquisitor, Inquisitor! I have a message Si!” But it seemed that the Gods themselves had decided to bless him today, as one of his messengers ran up to him quickly as he could. It seemed that while he’d been away discussing diplomatic nonsense in Orlais, they’d had a guest arrive this morning - an old friend, a companion. His Dorian. The elf’s heart nearly skipped a beat at the news, not even able to try and be composed about it as a bright smile filled his face and he thanked the messenger before dashing off towards the war room in which apparently the messenger had last spotted him. Part of Selhen wanted to burst in, fling himself at the man and just never let go and he almost did. But at the last second he paused at the door, heart racing and trying to control himself; clearly Dorian wanted this to be a surprise visit, but he was more than happy to turn the tables on him just a little. So with skilled, quiet fingers he slowly slid the door open, making sure to take his time so it didn’t creek and felt a breathless grin on his face as he saw Dorian’s back was turned to him at the moment. So he slowly snuck in, closed the door behind him and stealth his way right behind the man before speaking against his ear.
“Well, well Magister Pavus. To what do we owe the pleasure of your visit?” He asked, unable to hide the big grin on his face. Dorian was home.
