I wish to obtain the position of 1st Shift Laser Operator at Bay Metal Works in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Is the second shift laser operator on the smallish side by chance? Perhaps easy to subdue by force?

How big a laser are we talking? I mean, could it possibly be used to wipe out an entire town in one colossal blast, acting as a convincing display of force to any government officials in neighboring cities foolishly clinging to a stubborn unwillingness to bow to the demands of a misunderstood genius that has taken it upon himself to preside over the entire human race, administering his personal interpretation of justice as he sees fit?

When hired, I will also be bringing in several of my own men to work alongside me. You will not have to pay them, and they will not operate the laser. They are a modest security team that works for me. Many are fully licensed to open-carry automatic weapons, so you may want to give a heads up to the other workers at the shop.
