FEB 8, 2019 | marks the end of needing specs just to function. I've patiently waited more than a decade for my eyes to be mature enough and be ready for a Lasik operation. Retina Screening, Lasik Screening and other tests are done. Now, the long wait is over. PRE-LASIK R: -10.50 | -0.50 | 100 L: -4.50 | -0.75 | 140 Negative sign means I was near-sighted. I have Right "Lazy Eye" or known as Amblyopia with 1050 grade with 0.50 astigmatism. Which makes it harder for my Left eye na ang laki ng agwat ng grado kaya through the years it turns into 450 grade with 0.75 astigmatism. Thank you Dra.Ellen Sy for a successful operation and American Eye Center - Greenbelt 5 for the past 7 years.
"Pwede naman hindi na mag pa-opera" but it's true, no parent would ever want to see their children suffer. For providing me this life-changing opportunity, I am truly blessed. No more thick eye glasses, no more need for the use of distressing soft contact lenses, no more mini heartaches during eye check up.

During Operation. It only took seconds for the Lasik itself and minutes for preparations. I am wide awake, super bilis pero for me nakakatakot talaga. ang bilis pero ang daming ganap haha. Thankfully Doc was so sweet and even told me na happy sya kasi behave lahat ng patient nya. Right after the surgery uwian na, for me namaga talaga, i can’t open my eyes and keeps on crying while others naman mulat na mulat pa rin after idkw hahha
