When people don't understand Italian she gets unduly annoyed. Excella spends so much time around people who know between 'enough' and 'fluency' that to be confronted by someone who looks at her blankly when she speaks makes her irrationally wish to reach her hand out and snap their throat.

It's petty, but she honestly has little patience or time, and finds it easier and quicker to converse in rapid-fire Italian than English. [A clumsy language, no soul.]
