         "Where are we headed today?” The query left Beth’s mouth the moment she noticed Laura stir from sleep. She was seated on a chair in the corner of the room they’d sheltered in, gaze pensive as she read the graffiti plastered upon the wall opposite of her. Her need for sleep herself was rather limited; besides, keeping watch was a good thing, wasn’t it? Stretching, she rose to her feet, her boots barely making any sound across the floor as she shambled over to one of the boarded up windows to peer outside.

            “It looks cloudy. Do you think it will rain? I guess that might impact our travels.” She frowned slightly, but the show of emotion disappeared seconds later. “Perhaps it will clear up.” She turned away from the window, blue eyes set expectantly upon Laura.

♦ What was a mildly annoying thing that has happened to you rp wise?

{My easily muddled brain has deleted drafts instead of publishing them, written replies then closed the tab without hitting enter, forgot it wasn’t my turn, thought of a reply only to realize a week later I never actually WROTE it, and written words out of sequence or backwards.

A shit memory makes for an interesting life yo. }

I know my options are kinda limited right now, but it feels like a big risk to go rushing into unknown territory, hoping that this Virgil guy is even still alive.” She couldn’t afford to be reckless when her son’s future was at stake. If she died following a useless lead, he’d have no one left. As much as she trusted her friends in the Commonwealth, Kate couldn’t foresee them pursuing the Institute any further without her. They had no reason to.

             “I’ve got that Power Armor back in Sanctuary and a couple of fusion cores, but I’m not sure it’ll be enough. If something goes wrong, it’s not like I can get away.”
