She wasn't sure what the wraith wanted now, probably the new location of the outposts, but then, Eva didn't really care. Like Ronon she wasn't exactly military, but she was a friend to the new Atlantians. So she didn’t care that her rescue wasn’t approved. They were still scrambling to get a rescue team together, without pulling Shepherd and Teyla back from their mission.
The wraith who had been slowly draining Ronon turned upon hearing a commotion in the hallway. He motioned to the two with him to check it out, and as they neared the door it was suddenly sent flying off of it’s hinges by a blast. It hit the two approaching, and one was put down just by that. The other staggered to his feet, only to be hit by a small sickly green sphere in his face. It splattered, and suddenly his face was melting, the flesh sizzling as he screamed.
Walking in from the cloud of smoke that filled the hall, Eva strode in, her long black coat billowing behind her, black cloth mask over the bottom of her face, a bandanna enchanted to keep the smoke out of her lungs. In her right hand was her blasting rod, and in her left was Ronon’s favored gun, apparently she had located it somewhere on her search for him.
As she scanned the room, the single remaining wraith leaped up and away from the man, charging this newcomer while drawing his weapon. He never had the chance to become a threat, as liquid fire ripped through his torso, ending him with a shriek. Walking passed the latest corpse, Eva kicked it out of the way, bristling and snarling at the beast.
From there she assured herself there were no more in the room and none had been able to get past her blockades. She quickly made it to Ronon’s side, drawing her ka-bar from the back of her belt, and cutting through the leather straps binding him down. “Can you walk?”
