Well, I took the MCAT last week. Lord knows how nervous, anxious, and stressed I was. I even cried the 2 days before it cz I put so much pressure on myself over this test. But to be real, it feels like I’ve been on this never ending journey of just trying to get into med school & boy does it suck that I’m not there yet. However, I’m trying to remind myself daily that it’s baby steps. With all the barriers I’ve had to go through, I realized that timing is everything! Med school might not have been in my timeline rn but it was my time to get my masters (& I’m already in my last year!). I’ve been so caught with getting to the finish line that I never just took time to myself to reflect, prep, & improve. I’m finally starting to enjoy the process and take pride in every accomplishment, no matter how small. I’m grateful to have this opportunity to really work on myself and truly be ready for what’s to come next. #medschoolimcomingforya • Btw, here’s a short cover of Lullaby by Lateeya.
