THE EX-SOLDIER RAISES an eyebrow, his expression obviously amused at the woman’s comment after he has witnessed a guy he didn’t know smile at her in such particular way and give her a wave of the hand. Of course it’s not his business whether the man is her boyfriend or not but he can’t help but to feel entertained nonetheless by how quickly she has denied that he wasn’t her boyfriend.
“Hey, I didn’t say anything! Relax. He can be your boyfriend, no need to be so shy.” He sends her a grin, nudging her side with his elbow before he takes a sip of his bubble tea and ends up chewing on a tapioca pearl for a couple of seconds, glancing over at Yuna. “In all honesty though, if he is your boyfriend he should have come over and greeted you properly. What kind of awkward waving of the hand was that?” Wonbin laughs, shaking his head.
How come it is always when she looks shabby that she gets flirted with? Is there something she doesn’t know? Not that she would consider herself an expert in the way men think, anyhow. Do they think she would be an easier “catch” because of the bags under her eyes? Wonbin is the perfect person to ask, she figures, but first-- Yuna knows Wonbin likes to tease her, which is why she so hastily dismisses the possibility. “But you were going to say something, I know it!” She mumbles, squinting at him first, then looking back at the other man with a small scowl. The week has been especially long, she isn’t in the mood to entertain anything other than her hunger... and maybe some alcohol. “Wonbin ssi! I told you, he’s not!” When does she have the time to find a boyfriend, anyhow? She doesn’t. She’s either working or sleeping- not the most balanced lifestyle, but it is all she can do right now. “Plus...” She glances over at the stranger once more, whose attention is already on another female, before looking back at her companion. “He’s not my type, anyhow” Her tone suggests that Wonbin should know as much. Or at least guess- she cannot recall if they had ever had a conversation about types.
