The vampire could no longer trace exactly how the situation had come about. It was a diverse hustle and bustle of people he didn't know and who didn't necessarily have human features, but Loki knew them all. And everyone avoided getting too close to the god.

One discussion after another broke out until someone appointed himself driver and secured the seat. Elijah made himself comfortable in the seat behind the passenger without any discussion. Nobody paid any attention to him. In the end, every seat was taken and Loki was still standing outside. Nobody seemed to want to invite him in. The original vampire chuckled.

"This is the strangest car I've ever travelled in." He had slipped into this situation as a stranger. And that's how he was treated. Especially since people knew what he was. "Loki, we have to go," growled the driver, scowling at him. "Squeeze into the boot," but it was far too small for the tall man. And she knows that.

"So the police will stop us and arrest us because someone's travelling with us like that?" someone else snarled back.

Elijah sighed and before anyone else could object - or simply drive off - he grabbed Loki by the wrist and pulled him onto his lap with ease. "This is… humiliating." Loki almost hissed the words.

The atmosphere in the car was tense. Elijah leaned back as far as he could. Even if it wasn't far.

"Just drive," he growled to the driver. The corners of her mouth twitched upwards.
